The Cross was video was made to express my Love and Praise To God - who created us and love us and is with us and desires a relationship with Him. The expression is thru the gift of creativity to give Him PRAISE. Lots of Peace and Light 

This body of work is mixed media collage art on 30”x48” canvas that I created in response to the big pause, the pandemic that is on the earth.

Angel fish of the sea... these fish have been incredible fun to create. My heart is always thinking about the ocean. I love to visit the New England sea sides. The waters calm my spirit and gives me a peace.  My favorite places are the oceans of Cape Cod and the coast of Maine. I have so many memories of growing up and visiting these places of rest and family fun and I continue to enjoy today. These fish are fusion of the joy I feel and the peace I feel being by at the ocean side and what a blessing it is to live so close to coasts of New England.  The first angel fish now has a home in New York,  the middle fish is available and the 3rd angel fish has swam all the way to an Arizona home in the desert!  Please connect if you are interested. blessings of peace and light to you

This is the new one I am working on below - the painting part is complete with the background and then I go and layout the collage part. At this point is where I decide the color combination I would like to go with. nothing is adhered at this point. fluid design Time happening here. I will post the finished piece when I am done with Angel fish #4.

I am super excited to announce my juried group show in the Annex at Fountain Street Gallery in Boston MA in the SOWA Arts District. It opens this Friday night July 1st 5:00-8:00 pm. There is an array of gallery's and open studios, restaurants nearby and a beer garden! 
I am showing 8 - 12"x12" mixed media in my horse series. 3 other large mixed media on canvas.

I will be there from 5-8 pm and you can visit thru the month with regular gallery hours.

Here are some of my thoughts for the work - Hope to see you all on Friday nights opening. ​

My work is about identity, truth, hope, bravery and restoration of who we are. The freedom to move and breathe in this world. Being brave enough to let the light in us shine. This body of work represents truth in my life. Horse’s represent freedom of movement in all that they are. Birds fly with a freedom that feeds my spirit. The cross is my foundation and a desire in image to detach what we think it means and to lean into the truth of what it is.
The feathers in my work represent protection, flight, individualism and strength.  My process starts with laying my hands on the layer of the gessoed panel. As a way to begin the connection to what is going to be created. I put anywhere from 6-10 layers of paint with sanding, scratching, mark making, glazing and collage.. There is always one layer that creates the struggle of every painting I have ever created. I wrestle with it, leave it be, come back to it and it's still not settled and then I remember again to trust the process and once I come to peace of trusting the process through the ugly stage and release the struggle something beautiful comes to be. I continue to learn that my art is a metaphor for life. It is about the courage in creating a vision, a thought, an image, and pushing through the uncomfortable moments knowing that I am enough and that I can have missteps and. those missteps can teach me things.  Rising up and riding the wave of doubt and fear I am then able to gain my intuitive guidance of a gift that was placed inside me in partnership. I am able to bring a voice and my vision to the canvas. I hold these moments dear to my spirit and the way I feel and move through that connection I grow, become and create. 
We are brave, we are strong, we are beautiful, we are courageous, we persevere, we are freedom. Remember there's beauty in your bravery.

In my life, My art is an outpouring of passion to create something that speaks to the quiet spaces in the hearts of those who view it. To be able to provoke thought in the truth that resonates to where you are at that moment in time. A message of hope, truth, love, grace, peace, and strength that one can feel and in that knowing is the message, that you are enough.


“The Wings of Joy and Grace” was created to give a message of overcoming and the amazing potential of each one us. A story of Grace and ultimate Joy.
I reached out to folks to ask for partnerships in supporting my vision of giving away art to communities that In turn support others. Lorraine Charman is one of those people which I am ever grateful for her support in commissioning this piece for my art mission. Also would like to thank all my patrons that support me through I Am...Missionary Artist™️ Patreon and my partner Danforth Rogers in supporting all my endeavors.  Very grateful for the blessings to be able to pursue this calling. 


In this full circle moment of wanting to give back to communities that also find themselves in a struggle to overcome circumstance in ones life. I have a mission to make a difference with my art. In this full circle moment of giving back to a community that helped me along so long ago. I thank you for making a difference in so many lives.

Psalm 63:7 - for you have been my help and in the shadow of your wings
I sing for joy”.
*5 is the number of Grace - there are 5 rows of unique paper feathers and they represent each of us as unique individuals. All the feathers make up the wings, with the wings representing the fullness of community together in lifting each other up. Working together makes us stronger and united. The layers of feathers from an old bible pages represent the support we get, lifted up by His love, His strength, His power = We are lifted in God’s Grace.


*3 birds on the wings center represents Holy Trinity


*Feathers - protection/Gods covering - there is also a layer of feathers from an old bible that represents Gods Truth in our lives “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge, his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart”

I believe in love – I believe in restoration, I believe in healing, i believe in Grace, I believe in Hope. I believe God has a plan for everyone, I believe that God’s timing is perfect and I believe that We are all beloved children of God.
